Apart from shyness, the fear of rejection has a lot to do with girls not approaching the guy they like. You think you will be humiliated if he friend zones you or brushes you off, but it doesn't need to be this way. Remember this: don't let your dating life define your self esteem. You don't need validation from some guy to make you realize your worth. If he doesn't want you--just move on. Don't spend eternity pining for him.

Don't Worry About First Impressions
You put on your best dress, spray your favourite perfume, talk smart, and drop interesting trivia mid conversation. Have fun and leave the rest to destiny.
