When the match-making app Tinder hit the market, all the singles out there rejoiced. For something less pressuring than Shaadi.com had increased their chances of finding love in the digital space.

What next? From finding true love to finding people to hang out with to finding mates for casual sex, Tinder became the one-stop shop for all "kinds" of love interests. All you had to do was to simply swipe right if you liked someone's profile picture or just swipe left if you didn't. No explanations, no fuss. Convenient, right?

How about considering the superficiality aspect of judging people by their appearances in this case?

Now that you've got a reality check, let me tell you a wonderful trick to filter out the rest and find the best on the app. A 20-year-old YouTuber Crystal Adame used it and concluded, "there are some nice guys out there". So, you know, it could actually work.

If you're wondering what it is, here's the deal: It so happened that Crystal, who lost 100lb last year after starting an extreme weight loss plan, started receiving a lot of attention online for her looks. Now, the lady was curious to find out if the same men who were showering her with attention would be interested in her if she hadn't lost all the extra kilos.

The experiment began with Crystal adding "Shoot me your best pick up line" to her bio--before swiping right on as many men as possible.

Once her free likes were over, she started flirting and interacting with her matches, who reciprocated the interest. Next, she replaced her recent pictures with old ones in which she was heavier.

She then asked those men, "So I was using fake pics before, what do you think about me now? I'm using real pics."

While one guy immediately unmatched her, others could figure out that the pictures in which she seemed heavier were old and didn't fall for the trick.

However, one match told Crystal that she was cute regardless, and "it's not about the outside, but the inside anyway," before asking her if she wanted to meet up.

Though her matches weren't happy about a "slimmer" Crystal filming and sharing their reactions for YouTube, she did manage to find a nice guy after all.

"I didn't expect those couple of guys to be like, 'oh you're cute.' It just made me feel good," she gushed.

"The outcome that I got was, yes, there are guys who will like you either way and wouldn't be upset with it," she added.

Now, would you want to try this too?
