I remember, how excited I would get while watching WWE fights on the TV. Wasn't it a heart-breaking moment when they told us that those were not real fights but staged ones? *wipes tears*.

The other day I read that Kavita Devi, an Indian wrestler is going to star in the WWE. The amazing thing was that she prefers dressing in a kurta-salwar during her  fights. Beat that! But it is not just me who is all exited to see Kavita walk down the ring. Her potential opponent is equally exited. World Wrestling Entertainment star Sasha Banks, in an exclusive interview to indiatoday.in, said she was excited to visit India for the first time.

Who is Sasha?

Born Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado, Sasha acquired her ring name 5 years ago, that is when she signed up for WWE. However, she was wrestling under the brand Chaotic Wrestling before she entered WWE. Currently, she is all set to visit India for a two-day India tour of the WWE.

WWE will visit India for two live shows on December 8 and 9 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. Sasha has asked her fans on twitter to suggest her some happening places in India.

The four-time RAW women's champion also had some advice for aspiring WWE wrestlers. She asked them to never give up and keep following their dreams and their time will come.

Here are a few excerpts from Sasha's exclusive interview:

You will be travelling to India in December for the Live event in Delhi. Will you get time to see India?

I am so excited to come to India. It will be my first time. When I was told I get to come, I was very excited. Getting to see the world, is the best thing about the WWE, but the sad thing is that we don't get time. I am just hoping to get an opportunity, to see things. My Indian fans can tweet me, and tell me where to go, it will be awesome and I will be really appreciative.  I plan on being the RAW women's champion when I wrestle Alexa Bliss in India.

You will be representing team RAW in the Survivor Series. Your plans?

I plan to win the Survivor Series and show that RAW is the better division. I think all the women are great, but right now at RAW we are killing it. We have such incredible women we have in the company at the moment. We have Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, myself and Bailey, Alicia Fox, even though she is a crazy captain. I don't SmackDown has seen a team quite as dominant as us. So, come Survivor Series we plan to take on all, not only the women's division, but the whole RAW brand.

You were one of the proponents to usher in the Women's revolution in WWE. How do you see the change in the  coming years?

Since my time in NXT till now it has been such an amazing growth. To come from a place where we (female stars) used to be called Divas, now we are known as superstars just like the men. To have so much history, being involved in so many first-time matches. It is exciting to be a part of such a big women's division and I hope for the future to come, we just keep on dominating and showing the world that women's wrestlers is where it is at and we are doing great things.

Kavita Devi recently became the first female superstar from India. Have you met her?

I have not met her yet, but I live in Orlando and I plan to come to the performance centre and hope to meet and wrestler her one day. That will be an amazing opportunity.

What will be your advice to Kavita Devi or women wrestlers from India, who want make it big?

My advice to her and all women who want to be in the WWE, would be never give up, keep following your dreams . We have shown here that anything is possible, we are making history and we  making people care about women's wrestling. We used to see a lot of little boys in the audience, but now we can see a lot of women and little girls come out and see them dressed up as their favourite wrestlers. They come dressed as Bailey or like me. It is crazy to see the growth of how many little girls to WWE shows and how excited they are every time we make our entrance.

You had been a successful heel back on NXT, but have been a face predominantly on the main roster. Your thoughts.

I just feel that I am just being myself. Even if I am a 'baby face' or a heel (wrestling terminology for the good and bad characters respectively), I am still Sasha Banks. I am go out there and do my best like I always do. I don't need to put a title on it, if am being a bad guy or a good guy, I am just going to be Sasha Banks. I am going to put on great matches, and I am going to make history and I am going to be the face of the company. That's what I was doing down in NXT, that's what I am doing on the main roster.
