I plead guilty of taking the bad-boy bait. Here's why I love SRK in Raees

Call me a silly or a hopeless romantic, but I am a true-blue 90's kid who skipped a heartbeat every time Raj looked at Simran, every time Aryan played the violin with a sweater on his shoulders, every time Rahul ran towards Anjali wearing a transparent shirt. I also happen to be one of those people who watched Kal Ho Naa Ho a gazillion times and still cried my eyes out every time Aman was rushed to the hospital.

So, post a teenage of being smitten by every character Shah Rukh Khan played and his witty interviews, I concluded this was more than just liking. You could say, I was in a one-sided relationship with this man--but it was a relationship, nonetheless. I loved him!

But every relationship has its lows, so we hit a rough patch when movies like Ra-One, Dilwale, Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year came out. Shit! Did I just call those disasters, movies?

Anyway, I had almost given up on this man, but just like he seduced Anjali to win a basketball match in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, he has managed to seduce me back with his badass look in his upcoming release Raees.

Here's how my oblivious partner reignited the lost spark.

By Being the Sexy Spec-sy

When you already have deep, intense eyes you don't have to kohl them up and wear those sexy glasses too. Do you know what it does to your self-acclaimed girlfriend? This man needs to stop doing this to me. Sigh!

When the 'Don' Dons a Pathani Kurta

Oh, how I wish it wasn't naamumkin to catch hold of this Don. Up until now, I could hold myself back because he usually stuck to T-shirts, jackets, suits, and blazers. But SRK in a pathani kurta is simply irresistible.

FYI, That's All the Steam From His Hotness

The hotness that obviously comes with the above-mentioned factors, and also those super-strong forearms. O-M-G!

The Way He Looks at His Leading Lady

That kind of hurt, but what's love without a little jealousy, right? Hence, I just choose to concentrate on the passion in his eyes, assuming it is for me.

Look at That Swagger

If his good looks weren't enough to kill me, he also has that action-hero swagger in this one. He might be Bindu's "macko man" in Main Hoon Naa, but he's my macho man.

The Air of Mystery

A badass clad in a pathani kurta with kohled eyes, action-hero swagger, that baritone, and well an air of mystery attached to his last dialogue in the trailer "aa raha hoon". Uff! My heart is pounding, already.
