Dismiss that family-group admin first.

You remember the fateful day when your smoothly-running life got disrupted the moment your evil uncle/nosey chachi added you to the "family group" on everyone's go-to instant-messaging application-WhatsApp?

In all probability, that was just a move to flaunt their newly-acquired technical skills in life. And had it not been for the 'mute' feature, we all wouldn't even have the decency to embrace those skills of our fellow family members. The same members of our bloodline, who don't think twice before bombarding our phones with 'Jai Mata Di', 'Goodmorning', 'Goodevening', 'Goodafternoon', 'Goodnight', 'Good Life', 'Good Poop', 'Happy Birthday', 'Happy Anniversary', 'Happy Nose Picking', and the 'benefits of yoga' messages!

However, it seems like Mark Zuckerberg has finally understood the pain of being ruled by a villainous relative on WhatsApp. Which is why, just days after announcing that Facebook News Feed would be about 'meaningful interactions' with people who care instead of silly advertisements-he is all set to roll out a new very "considerate" feature of WhatsApp too.

We're talking about the 'Dismiss As Admin' feature, which enables group administrators to demote and administrators of other groups and take control.

Basically, if your maami rules one group 1 and doesn't like your bhabhi, who is the administrator of group-2, she can easily dismiss her as admin and take control of group 2 as well. And your poor maami will lose all her admin powers and become a standard participant of the group chat.

According to WABetaInfo, the feature is available in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, and is under development on iOS. But there's still a probability of it turning into reality and letting group admins annoy the hell out of each other.

Another happy news is that WhatsApp is also working on letting you respond to group messages privately to the sender instead of posting it in the group. So, are you happy now?
