When people say doomsday is near, they don't always mean to talk about the end of the world of Superman's supposed demise. Sometimes, watching certain bizarre trends catch on and spread like wildfire on the Internet is just about enough to fill you with disappointment galore and make you feel like there's nothing substantial left in the world anymore!

First, there was an ice-bucket challenge created to raise awareness about ALS and raise funds for the same. So it made sense. But then challenges like the "booty-flip-cup" which involved--keeping a goddamn cup on your derriere and thrusting your backside upwards so that the glass goes up in the air, and lands back on your booty--took over and made everyone go WTF!

But now, this all-new challenge is set to give a tough competition to the ridiculousness of the boot-flip-cup challenge.

I am talking about the 'invisible box challenge' which can make you look like you're magically walking in the air. Yes, you read that right.

No, you don't have to be a P.C. Sorcar to try this trick. Just some inspiration from Boney Kapoor's Mr. India will do. So, the box has to be your invisible Anil Kapoor and all you've got to do is to act like a love-struck Sridevi around it.

No you don't have to sing "I Love You" or dance or take abnormally heavy breaths in a sari at the "sight" of your Mr. India, i.e., the box. You just have to assume there's a box resting on the ground, step on it (I mean, the air obviously), and then pretend like you tripped over the box.

*Rolls eyes*

Basically, you're "magically" walking mid-air over some silly, invisible box!

*Slow claps*

On second thoughts, save them claps for these people actually trying this challenge out because apparently, we've run short of ideas to kill time:
