All you need to know about Sapna Didi, the woman who dreamt of killing Dawood Ibrahim

She was young, innocent, naïve, and head-over-heels in love with her husband Mehmood. The man, who married her and gave her a taste of freedom from the restrictions of her conservative family.

I am talking about Arshraf Khan aka Sapna Didi, whose world fell apart when her loving husband was killed by an encounter specialist on Dawood Ibrahim's command. Why? Well, because Mehmood refused to do something for the underworld don.

Thereafter, killing Dawood became Ashraf's dream and so, she named herself as Sapna Didi.

Now, years after the incident, Vishal Bhardwaj is making a movie based on her life starring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.
