What's the first thing that you do when that sumptuous pizza, fresh out of the wood-fired oven or that irresistible, cheesy burger finally arrives on your table? You probably reach out for tomato ketchup to top up your guilty pleasure before you take its first bite, don't you?

In fact, there's no dearth of people on this planet, who can't do without ketchup even while having something as simple as a parantha or a piece of bread!

However, what happened with a 41-year-old British woman recently might just change your taste-enhancing preferences in life.

So, upon complaining of bouts of acute abdominal pain and bloating for three days, the woman was said to be suffering from Crohn's disease (as declared by the doctors).

Now, this condition has no cure, only treatment. But the woman simply did not respond to it. Thereafter, the doctors at Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospital in Slough were compelled to carry out a keyhole surgery only to make a startling discovery.

They found an inflamed mass piercing the wall of the woman's small intestine--which turned out to be two pieces of packaging bearing the iconic Heinz logo!

"This case highlights that an inflammatory mass in the small intestine caused by the perforation of ingested foreign body can mimic Crohn's disease," researchers wrote in a report published in the British Medical Journal.

Needless to say, her pain vanished almost instantly post removing the plastic pieces.

What do we learn from this case? Not just relying on ketchup from ketchup bottles instead of sachets but also being super careful about every bite we take. Because you know what? In this era of adultery, we've got to look after ourselves really, really well.
