10 Bollywood characters you would not want to date at all!

We bring to you ten Bollywood characters no girl would ever want to go out with.

  • Chatur, 3 Idiots
Umm. That Chatur (Omi Vaidya) ended up getting a wife in 3 Idiots should have made that part of the film unbelievable. It evades our understanding as to who would want to marry this disaster. From learning things by rote without understanding to blaming others for his flatulence problem, Chatur is one character who will forever top the charts when it comes to 'Guys We'd Not Date'.

  • Anshuman, Jab We Met
Someone who throws a girl out when she goes through the effort of travelling hundreds of kilometres just to meet him. Anshuman, yes, is one guy all of us loved to see being shouted at. When Geet (Kareena Kapoor Khan) screams 'Teri maa ki...' into the phone, many of us actually ended up clapping - such was the disgust Anshuman had given birth to in his audience. None of us women would want to go out with this guy, too.

  • Suhas, 3 Idiots
'Gadha'. The one, defining word that comes to mind the moment one thinks of Kareena Kapoor Khan's fiance in 3 Idiots. This walking-talking Price Tag gave rise to numerous jokes that still do the rounds of popular culture. Goes without saying, just a fancy degree or a US-bank-ki-naukri is not enough for a woman to go out with someone. Let alone go to the mandap, with the intention of tying the knot, the way Pia (Kareena) did.

  • Rahul, Aashiqui 2
Drink-drink-drink-sleep-sing-drink-drink. Drink some more. Alcoholic Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapur) sure had looks to die for in Aashiqui 2, but well, that alone is no reason to die for. He was a famous singer, and he loved Aarohi a lot - granted, but no woman would want to be thrown out of the house or be screamed at or be at the receiving end of the alcohol-induced tamaasha. Oh, and did we mention nobody would want to date a potential-self-killer?

  • Vikram, Murder 3
To begin with, everything else aside, Vikram's hairstyle would have made many of us women not date him. Randeep Hooda's character in the film is an incorrigible Casanova, who just does not know how to control his libidinal self. End of story: When someone is too hot to handle, maybe they should be left to cool down to normal temperatures before we think of dating them.

  • Kundan, Raanjhanaa
Now, should we even start talking about Dhanush's Kundan in Raanjhanaa? Who, after all, would want a stalker boyfriend! From dogging Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) every-damn-where that she went to slashing his wrists in front of her, Kundan is the embodiment of all that a woman wouldn't want in a potential boyfriend.

  • Amjad, Daawat-e-Ishq
Yes, Karan Wahi as Amjad, Gullu's (Parineeti Chopra) boyfriend was too cute to look at. But his boyishly handsome looks turned out to be an indicator of his guts too - that of a kid, not a grown up man. While talking about their wedding, when his parents demand a 'gift' from Gullu's father, Amjad is a mere spectator. Serves him right, then, when his girlfriend storms out of the resaurant with a 'Bloody Vegetarians!'

  • Vijay, Queen
The commitment-phobic who dumps his fiancee a day before their wedding. Vijay (Rajkummar Rao) deserves a Nobel in jerkism, if there existed such a category. But then, had he not done what he had done, Queen would have been a different story altogether!

  • Vinay, Highway
Remember Veera's (Alia Bhatt) supremely irritating fiance right at the beginning of the film? The very fact that Veera would have ended up tying the knot with the guy who might have loved to wring the word 'happiness' out of her life makes us feel inwardly thankful that she got kidnapped.

  • Bollywood is all about romantic films and even more romantic heroes. After all, who can ever forget the iconic, archetypal Raj Malhotra, who redefined our definitions of a romantic hero in the 90s. However, Bollywood films are replete with jerks, too, who dump the girl, treat her like she is a doormat, leave her pregnant and whatnot. We bring to you ten Bollywood characters no girl would ever want to go out with.

    Ishaan, I Me aur Main

John Abraham in I, Me aur Main  - suave, smart, sexy, and an a-hole of the highest order. The way Ishan behaves with his girlfriend Maya (played by Chitrangda Singh) makes one get up, grab him by the collar and hit him hard if not kill him. From his commitment phobia to narcissism, Ishaan in the first part of the film is extremely despicable. He does change towards the end, though. But trust us, real men of Ishaan's category don't.
