Serial Kissers: Bollywood makes way for new Emraan Hashmis

Here are the young actors who are steadily climbing the ladder up to the throne of Bollywood's New Serial Kisser.

Parineeti Chopra
The bubbly young actress made quite a few heads notice her when she kissed Arjun Kapoor in her second film, Ishaqzaade. After that, in Shudh Desi Romance, the girl romanced her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, shared quite a few make-out scenes with him and kissed him passionately. Thereafter, in Hasee Toh Phasee and Kill Dil, Parineeti was involved in quite a few mercury-raising smooches with co-actors Sidharth Malhotra and Ranveer Singh respectively.

Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor has been quite the kisser since his early days in Bollywood. In films like Bachna Ae Haseeno and Rajneeti, the actor kissed his actresses with much gusto. And post Rockstar, Ranbir's films have been sprinkled with numerous kissing scenes, be it with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone (in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) or Bollywood debutante Pallavi Sharda (in Besharam).

Her debut in Bollywood, Luv Ka The End, did not manage to make much of a mark at the Box Office. But it was her second film, Aashiqui 2, that catapulted Shraddha Kapoor to the league of new actresses to reckon with. Shraddha's lip-lock with Aditya Roy Kapur in the film was soon followed by her smooch with Sidharth Malhotra in Ek Villain. After that, the actress starred in a kissing scene with Shahid Kapoor, too, in Haider.

Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput's first Bollywood film was Kai Po Che, and did not quite feature the actor in a role that requried kissing. However, in his second film, Shudh Desi Romance, the actor shed all inhibitions, and was seen kissing both his actresses - Vaani Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra with gay abandon. Now, the actor will soon be seen creating a kissing history of sorts - with his currently-in-production film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. This Dibakar Banerjee thriller will have the actor locked in Bollywood's longest on-screen kiss, one which will feature Sushant and Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee.

Alia Bhatt
Yes, she is the youngest of the Bhatts, the family that probably has the maximum contribution to Bollywood, as far as kissing scenes in films are concerned. And Alia, despite not acting in her family banner films, made sure she didn't flinch a bit while kissing her co-stars on screen. From Student of the Year, where she kisses Sidharth Malhotra, to her several on-screen make-out sessions with Arjun Kapoor in 2 States, to her smooches with Varun Dhawan in Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, Alia is quite a strong claimant, as far as the title of the Serial Kisser is concerned.

In Ishaqzaade, Arjun Kapoor wowed all with his kissing skills as the actor wooed Parinneti Chopra. In his second film, Aurangzeb, Kapoor was seen in scalding hot scenes with Sasha Agha. Following that, 2 States happened. And the numerous barely-clothed scenes that the actor was seen in, with co-star Alia Bhatt, soon made him a contender for the 'serial kisser' tag.

In his first film, Band Baaja Baarat, Ranveer Singh shared a full-blown smooch with co-star Anushka Sharma. And thereafter, Ranveer kissed most of his heroines in his films. Sidharth Malhotra did it in his first film itself. He kissed Alia Bhatt while Varun Dhawan looked on, in Student of the Year. Three films old in the industry, the actor has already got a steady place for himself in the Serial Kissers' Club. After Student of the Year, Malhotra kissed his co-star, Parineeti Chopra in Hasee Toh Phasee; and followed it with smooching Shraddha Kapoor in Ek Villain.

Varun Dhawan
The actor's first film, Student of the Year, saw him as the happy-go-lucky school-going philanderer who undergoes a transformation during his years at St Teresa's. Though the first film did not see Varun sharing full-blown kisses with his actress Alia Bhatt, their second film together gifted the audience the smooches. In Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, Alia and Varun indluge in some good amount of kissing. In his second film, Main Tera Hero, too, Varun had a kissing scene with Ileana D'Cruz. And now, with the teaser of Dhawan's next, Badlapur, out, the actor has yet again managed to raise the temperatures. He kisses Divya Dutta with raw, animalistic passion, and the kiss has already become the talk of the day. And if Varun is to be believed, he did not have any issues kissing Divya, an actress several years senior to him in Bollywood.
