Love is not an easy game. There's a reason we call it a game. It involves tricks, tactics and schemes to win over a heart. The woman is mostly regarded as manipulative, but wake up sir, men too use the same techniques.

Sex

Men have had a history of succumbing to their hormones, and psychologist Anu Goel says women often use sex as weapon to drive home a point. "Especially with matters related to finance, in-laws and going on holidays," she says. But many men have understood this ploy well enough to dodge the tactic. Women will then think of other ways to get things done.

Tears

It's time we wake up and smell the coffee. It's not just women, men too use tears to navigate in a relationship. Pratham Shrivastava, media professional, says many of his friends have used sob stories to slip into a woman's bed. In a previous interview Rahul Roy, documentary filmmaker, said " If men feel they can use tears to create a certain bond then they could use it."

Making your partner jealous by flirting is an old trick of the 'love game'. Making your partner jealous by flirting is an old trick of the 'love game'.
Jealousy
The green-eyed monster spares no one. Making your partner jealous by flirting with another is an old trick. The ploy has been acted out in the movies so many times. "Both men and women use the trick to manipulate. This ploy is usually used before dating. However, don't overdo it. It may cause problems," cautions Shalini Singh, software professional and one-time serial dater.

Biological complications
Yes, it's true, women have started using their menstrual cycle as an excuse to skip office and get away with bad temper. It may sound a little anti-woman, but psychologists agree to this fact. "Men are getting more sensitive towards the needs of women, and some women are taking advantage of this fact. So when a woman says that she is having cramps in her stomach and cannot come to office, her male boss simply says okay," says Gitanjali Shah.

Food

This is the oldest trick in the book and with some type of men, it still works. Especially those living away from home and who miss good home-cooked food and being looked after. But wait a minute, time was when men in certain tribes around the world plied their wives with special foods when they wanted sex. It still works in the animal kingdom.
