Sania Mirza is following the footsteps of one of her favourite sportsperson, who happens to be none other than master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. No, we are not talking about her Padma Bhushan win or her international winning feats. The ace tennis star after wielding the tennis racquet has chosen a pen to put down her tennis journey.

Ace Against Odds is Sania Mirza's candid revelation about the trials and tribulations she faced on and off court. The World No. 1 in women's doubles didn't shy away from sharing the music she faced from Muslim clerics on dressing up in her tennis attire. She has laid bare her insecurities and the challenges that followed after a fatwa was issued her in 2008 for the same reason.

'Ace against odds' 😀 Stay tuned .. #comingthisJuly #HarperCollins

If it's Sania's autobiography, how could there not be a chapter on her ace winning partner Martina Hingis. She has a spell of 41 consecutive wins with Martina between August 2015 and February 2016. The tennis-star-turned-scribe has a chapter called Meeting Martina in the book talking about her first-time experience of meeting the Swiss player. After all Sania is just another girl. How do you expect her to not share about heartbreaks and finding love. These too have found space in the tome. The book has been co-authored by her father Imran Mirza and Shivani Gupta. Published by Harper Collins, the book is now available on stands.
