Katy Perry gets crystallised for Harper's Bazaar cover

Popstar Katy Perry has taken her love for glitter to a new level. The Fireworks hitmaker is covered with crystals for the cover shot of Harper's Bazaar magazine.

Shot by celeb fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, the close-up cover features Perry's pout bejewelled in 150 red crystal Swarovski elements, reported People magazine.

Only a select group of fashion insiders and VIPs will score a copy, actually encrusted in the sparklers.

The 25-year-old recently had a golden moment in her career after receiving four Grammy nominations.

The singer is up for both Album of the year and Best Pop Album for Teenage Dream. She also received a nod for Best Female Pop Vocal performance for her single by the same name, and best pop collaboration with vocals for California Gurls alongside Snoop Dogg.
