Ever wondered why men fail to pay heed to a simple and self-explanatory word such as no? Well, don't blame them. These poor souls have grown up watching Bollywood songs, which reinforces the belief that they need to stalk, tease, and harasses women in order to make them fall in love.

For instance, when an Indian man was taken to court in Australia on charges of stalking, his lawyer argued that it was really no fault of his. The guy had taken inspiration from Bollywood films, which portray stalking and harassment as romance. You'll be surprised to know that the court after serious deliberation let-off the man, agreeing with this lawyer. Don't laugh it off because it's true.

And this is exactly what All India Backchod's new video Harassment Through The Ages is about. This hilarious and punny video hits home. Through a bouquet of Bollywood songs, starting from 1960s till now, the video throws light on extremely derogatory and sexist lyrics the industry has been penning to woo women.

Remember the song Khambe Jaisi Khadi Hai starring Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit from the film Dil ? Well, you might have enjoyed the track and its visuals where Aamir's character is seen chasing Madhuri--but, that's what is exactly the root cause of the problem.

Dear men, harassment will not make us like you. However, our film industry just can't seem to get it. Times may have changed, but the mentality still persists. Songs like Gandi Baat, Apun Bola, and Tera Hero Idhar Hai  are proof that the era of vulgar and offensive lyrics are far from over.

For those who so far have not been able to grasp the severity of the situation, AIB does a commendable job trying to make a point with its side-splitting, yet meaningful video. Oh, and Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal, and Mallika Dua are commendable in it.
