In this Chinese restaurant, the bigger, the better, and well--cheaper.

When God made women, he definitely had other things in mind while adding curves to their bodies. While those 'things' still remain a mystery, what we can totally vouch for is the fact that he definitely didn't want us to see a day when the size of those curvy creations on women's bodies would determine the amount of money they'd have to shell for something as basic as food.

Yes, you read that right. The size of your bosom doesn't just subject you to body shaming in this era with people constantly debating over how big is too big or how small is too small. It can even be a deciding factor in the amount of money you need to spend on your meals. And executing this nightmarish, horrendous idea is the Trendy Shrimp restaurant in China.

According to the Qianjiang Evening Post, the restaurant located in a mall in Hangzhou (the main city of coastal Zhejiang province) came under the scanner for offering discounts to women depending on their bra size after local people complained to the council earlier this month.

The hideous advertisement showing caricatures of women clad in underwear with an even more hideous caption that read, "The whole city is looking for BREASTS" was taken down after drawing flak from people all over the world. In fact, it listed discounts for women as per their cup size with further discounts for women with bigger posteriors.

That's not it. The general manger of the restaurant defended the cringe-worthy marketing strategy by saying, "Once the promotion started, customer numbers rose by about 20%."

"Some of the girls we met were very proud--they had nothing to hide," he added.

In fact, showing some "real concern" for women, he said that they could claim discounts from waitresses in order to "avoid embarrassment". As if the campaign wasn't enough of an "embarrassment" in itself.

Now, we really don't know about the food served at this restaurant, but what they really served through this ad campaign was nothing but a flop-ass dish topped with objection of women and a hint of body shaming to go with it. And needless to say, we'd much rather starve ourselves than encourage such obnoxious strategies.
