There is no denying the fact that the use of a condom while having sex is a non negotiable if you don't want to put yourself at the risk of getting sexually-transmitted infections (STIs). However, there is also no denying the fact that for a lot of couple, having unprotected sex is more pleasurable.

Even if you and your partner come clean from an STI test, you still can't shrug your worries considering that there's a constant fear of getting pregnant that lurks on your head. The result? You either have to go for contraception procedures like copper-T insertion or just rely on those morning after-pills that totally mess up your body's hormonal balance.

But, what if we told you that you can now enjoy unprotected sex without relying on these body-damaging birth-control measures? All you've got to do is to download an app called Natural Cycles and the rest will be taken care of.

If you're wondering what a mere phone application can do to spice up your sex life, here's the deal: This contraceptive app will use your body temperature to track your menstrual cycle and will predict when you're less fertile and are thus at a lesser risk of getting pregnant from unprotected sex.

So basically, when you wake up in the morning--check your temperature and feed it into the app, and it will do the rest!

This smartphone app which is already approved in Europe as a contraceptive also indicates red days, when you are at your fertile best and advises you to use a condom on those days.

In case you still have doubts about relying on technology for something as serious as pregnancy, you've got to know that almost 3,80,000 women rely on it and only seven per cent have gotten pregnant. In fact, a recent study of 22,785 women provided 'evidence' that it really works.

Yes, there isn't a 100% guarantee involved here. But hello! Birth-control pills also are known to reduce the risk of pregnancy by 91%. Even condoms don't assure total guarantee. So, you might as well try the app rather than subjecting your body through the torturous after-effects of a contraceptive pill.

Oh, and did we tell you it's available in India for both iOS and Android devices. It's free for the first month, though you may have to pay after that. But given that it can help you have unlimited sex without any side effects--isn't it worth it?
