The Parliament of India is mostly full of men. We do have women in both the houses and legislative assemblies, but have you ever looked closely enough to notice the difference in ratio between men and women politicians? While, women politicians have been fighting for a fair representation in the legislature for years, the bitter truth is that nothing has changed. Even after 20 years of it's introduction, Women's Reservation Bill still hasn't seen the light of the day in this country. We asked two women politicians, Praniti Shinde and K. Kavitha, what they had to say about the representation of women in the Indian Parliament and they pointed out exactly what needs to change to make it happen.
