Hair has always been considered the most important feature in a woman. In a world obsessed with looks, women with short hair are often branded masculine. You might be pretty familiar with the word "tomboy" as well.

And it isn't just about that. When it comes to Indian culture, long hair has always been associated with ethnic wear. Be it salwars or saris, it's a common perception that everything would look good with long flowy hair.

However, we often forget that hair has got nothing to do with traits--masculine or feminine. No matter how much you call haircuts similar to pixie cuts a "boy cut", it still is not related to boys or men. Because let's face it, a girl can be super feminine and still pull off short hair.

And forget about looking feminine, you can actually wear a sari with short cropped hair and manage to look absolutely hot! Don't believe us? Here's proof.

Take Mandira Bedi for instance. She can wear anything and look gorgeous and her short hair has never been a question on her femininity. Just look at her dazzle in saris!
