Remember when you tried a bra for the first time? How it was so tight, and strange and it felt like a cage. So much time to get used to it! And after that came the multiple kinds of bras- t shirt, lace, balconette and even unpronounceable shit.

But the worst one are 'enhancer' bras, that make your boobs look bigger. As if women weren't self conscious enough. So, a bra company in Japan recently launched a bra called 'bust upru' that gives you significantly big breasts. It was however, largely targeted at cosplayers.

What is cosplay?

It is a short form for the term "Costume Play." It means dressing up and pretending to be a fictional character (usually a sci-fi, comic book, or anime character). It often involves switching gender as well. For example, I may be a woman but I would dress up like batman, while a man might want to dress up like wonder woman.

In Japan, anime is the term given to hand or computer drawn animation. It is very popular and hence, a lot of people dress up like their favourite anime characters. Since a man who wants to dress up like a woman would also need breasts, this bra enhancer comes handy.

But this got me thinking. This product will be really, really helpful in India, especially among men who stare at our breasts while walking on the streets or for that matter, anywhere. Do you know how?
