You know the feeling when you're struggling with your period cramps or see a woman enduring excruciating labour pain? Doesn't the frustration of being subjected through those womanly tortures sometimes make you wish that perhaps, men could have period cramps or deliver the baby instead?

While you most definitely can't do much about Mother Nature's assigned roles there, you could still imagine a gender-neutral world where women could freely roam around in comfy pants while men were dressed in frilly frocks and well--lacey lingerie.

And since the androgynous power-dressing in women is already a thing on the fashion block, how could men stay behind in the cross-dressing race?

Turns out, lacey lingerie for men too is a real thing. 'Brongerie' they call it. And well, just as we women sometimes like to splurge on our intimate wear to make ourselves feel good and to sometimes seduce men in bed, men too are now sporting the so-called "feminine" trend.

Don't believe us? Check this out:

From mesh-nets to laces to tiger prints to strings to soft satins--the brongerie features almost everything that you'd see in women's lingerie.

Tired after a long day of...fun.

Even though, this trend has caught on the social media in the last two years or so, it has been present for a while. Don't you remember that episode of FRIENDS where Joey wore a pair of panties to prove he was comfortable with his sexuality? Or that scene from Cocktail where Saif Ali Khan dances on Sheila Ki Jawani dressed in lacey intimate wear?

More recently, even Ranveer Singh donned a red Playboy underwear in Befikre and got everyone talking.

Now, you might think that these are some kinky bedroom tricks or shown on screen just for the sake of fun and that the brogerie is probably just meant for men who're gay or for those who like to cross-dress. But that's not really true.

The "straight" men too are embracing the brongerie for good. After all, it's all about being comfortable with your sexuality and breaking gender stereotypes, right?

Having said that, we think it's time for a Victor's Secret along with Victoria's Secret. What do you say?
