Ladies, who doesn't like going on a vacation? After all, it gives you break from your stressful yet mundane life. However, one thing that's bound to happen to you every time you come back from the trip is weight gain. Yes, we are talking about that vacation tummy that haunts you when you come back to your regular life. You see, relaxing and eating out all the time can wreak havoc on your usual healthy diet.

However, did you know that it's not that difficult to stick to healthy eating even when you are travelling? Yes ladies, you won't even have to worry about post vacation rigorous exercise or cheat days. Here are five ways how you can stick to your diet even when you are on your vacay!

Stick To Your Schedule

If you had meals at a specific time earlier, make sure you keep up with it even when you are off to a trip. You may have taken a break to rejuvenate and relax, but avoid sleeping in.  Make sure you have a hearty breakfast, so that your body doesn't compensate for it with an increasing appetite throughout the day.

Plan Your Meals Just Like You Planned Your Vacation

Going on a vacation means planning for the place, the hotel, and everything that you are going to do there. However, when it comes to what you are going to eat there, you often leave it to fate and that's where you are making the biggest mistake. You need to plan your meals too, ladies.

Just look up the menus of local restaurants and hotels online to identify healthy eating options. And don't forget to avoid binge drinking, as it can stimulate your appetite.

Book  A Hotel That Has A Fitness Centre

Most of the hotels nowadays have a gym or pool on their property. Just look for one that has a good gym or a fitness centre and workout like you do usually. Not only will you be able to maintain that hot-bod, but you'll also be able to meet new people!

Carry Your Workout With You On The Trip

No ladies, we are not asking you to carry weights and make your baggage heavy. However, you can always carry skipping ropes with you as you travel. Those are pretty light weight, aren't they? How about some lightweight sneakers and your yoga mat to go with it. You'll thank us later!

Stay Active Throughout Your Travel

If you are going on a mountain then go for a trek every day. Just get lost in the wilderness and explore the new place you have gone to. If you are on a beach vacation, go for a nice run! Enjoy the sunset as you take a brisk walk along the shoreline. Or just play kabaddi with the ocean just like Dear Zindagi. It will not only be peaceful, but will also help you stay fir even on your vacation.
