Going out on a date can be a real pain in the ass. Because let's be honest, due to the anticipation of meeting someone new, we often end up over- analyzing things. Be it our physical appearance, the clothes we have chosen, or the pursuit of breaking the ice--everything is taxing.

However, if you decide to meet someone you have met online, things can get a little tricky. Especially, if it's Tinder, simply because it is known to be a hookup app and not many want to jump into bed on the first date.

But, if you do manage to make up your mind about meeting someone you have been talking to only for a few days, be ready for your mind to go on hyperdrive. And ladies, we have all done that--even if you aggressively say no.

From freaking out about the idea of a Tinder date to worrying if they will turn out to be a complete psycho, everyone gets a little paranoid. Trust us, even the best ones.

So, if you have ever been on a Tinder date or are planning to in the near future, here's what will probably go on in your mind before you meet that person.

What If This Was A Prank and I'm Getting Catfished
This is the most common scary thought that will cross your mind the minute you wake up that day. And you will end up analyzing every single conversation you've had with them, just to figure out if  they are a real person.

What If I Get Stood Up?

Well if you are getting pranked, you probably will get stood up. Although that's not the scariest part. What if your date comes to the set place, sees you from far, and doesn't like you? Yep, deal with that, now.

What If They Don't Like The Real Me
When you have calmed yourself about how you probably won't get stood up, the next thought is what if they end up hating you. Talking over messages is something else, things can change, sometimes for the worse, when it comes to meeting someone face to face.

Did I Stalk Them Enough?
We all stalk, especially those we are actually genuinely interested in. In the time of social media, where everyone's life is online, it isn't that hard to get information. And if you have already added your date on Facebook then their whole life, including the most embarrassing pictures, will be easily available.

A little history is always better. And ladies, remember knowledge is power.

What If My Date Turns Out To Be A Psychopath?
Ladies, we have all read horror stories of people ending up on some of the worst Tinder dates ever. What if your date turns out to be a murderous creep?

Pro tip: Do not think about Hannibal Lecter or watch Silence of The Lambs or even The Shining before going on your Tinder date.

I Should Have A Backup Plan To Run From The Restaurant

"Should I tell the servers that I'm on a Tinder date and they should help me run in case things go south?" "Should I sit near the door so I can just pick my bag and run for my life?" "Damn! Shouldn't have worn heels to the date."

Ladies, despite all the anxiety, paranoia, and over thinking, it's all about taking a risk. It's about taking a leap of faith (the leap may just be from the washroom window to run away from the date, you never know!)

Everything is a huge risk in life, especially when it comes to the matters of the heart. So, if you think you can go on a Tinder without losing your mind, then you definitely should. Because trust us, it might just turn out to be the best thing you ever did!
