Once upon a time, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were madly in love. Things were taking a serious course and there were talks about their wedding, until the news about their breakup came out and took everyone by storm.

However, amidst reports of a rumoured discomfort between the two actors on the sets of their upcoming movie Jagga Jasoos post their separation, there's finally proof that their equation isn't all that bad.

Sayani Gupta, who also stars in the movie alongside Ranbir and Katrina posted a selfie with the both of them welcoming co-star Katrina Kaif to Instagram and put all their post-breakup-discomfort speculations to rest. Check out the post here:

Ranbir and Katrina don't just seem comfortable sharing the same frame in this post, but have also inspired us to take the leap of maturity and become amicable with our exes instead of being hostile to them. Here's why we all should be like this ex-couple post a breakup:

Spare Your Eyes The Horror of The Cold Stares
You obviously don't have to be best friends with your ex-boyfriend, but for the sake of your eyesight, go up to him, say hello, and break the ice instead of giving him some ice-cold stares. Your eyes, and more importantly your mind and heart will thank you for it.

Accepting The Past Means You're Treading on The Path of Self-Love

Being genuinely comfortable around an ex-boyfriend, who possibly broke your heart means that you've actually forgiven him. Now, this may sound unbelievable, but trust us, the forgiveness will bring you more satisfaction than finding out how hideous the girl he tried to replace you with was in life. So let it go for your own sake, happiness, and most importantly, peace of mind. He's destroyed you as much as he could in the past. You don't want to let him affect your present too, right?

It's Your Chance To Gain The Actual Adulthood Certificate
Honestly, being 18 years of age has nothing to do with adulthood or maturity. You actually really grow up when you understand the fact that sometimes having a bad relationship with a man doesn't necessarily mean he's a bad human being. Sometimes, it's just bad timing or the lack of compatibility. Now is the time to accept this and accept him.

Moreover, A Simple Hello Doesn't Cost a Dime
And it's a much better gesture than walking past someone who really mattered to you at one point in life. So, for the sake of the good times you both once shared and out of respect for a fellow human being, just greet him with at least a casual 'hi' if you happen to bump into him.
