Gone are the days when romances were all about going on dates to figure out if you really liked each other. Things have become more complicated--thanks to technology. Now, love happens online and romance takes place on phones. And along with it comes elusive text messages.

Ladies, have you ever wondered if the guy you are texting continuously is actually into you? If you have gone through the trauma of making sense of the texts from your crush, then fret no more. There's a new app that will analyze the messages for you and tell you if the guy you are so hung up on actually likes you!

That's right, just by going through the messages, the app, Crushh, can tell you if the guy likes you back or even if he likes you more than you like him!

The app uses a math algorithm based on information gathered from over 200,000 texting relationships. The creator of this wonderful app says that it can interpret how much the other person likes you and detect any possible shifts in a relationship.

We even gave this app a shot to see if it works and we were surprised to find out that it does. All you need to do is select a contact and specify your relationship to that person. It then analyses your text messages, which are there on your phone.

So, when we entered the name of our choice, we were surprised to see nothing but the truth. The result was bang on and showed what the reality was!

In an interview to Mashable, creator Es Lee said that the idea for the app came when he was sitting in a park with a "confused" friend who was new to the New York City dating scene. "He'd gone on a date that he thought had gone really well, but the woman hadn't responded to his last text," said Lee.

"I flipped through the text exchange and I could tell that she liked him from the 'body language' displayed in the texts. But that hadn't been too obvious to my friend," he added.

Lee decided to convert this analysis into an algorithm that works in a similar way to a human brain, minus the memory problems. In fact, to make things easier for the users, the app maker has also shared how the app really works.

The app is indeed a boon for all those clueless people, who often end up sending screenshots of their conversations to their besties. It can do the job pretty well, sans the snarky responses that you are used to getting from your friends.

The only drawback, however, is that the app can only analyze text messages and not WhatsApp or Facebook messages. But, beggars can't be choosers, right?
