Ladies, you probably must be familiar with this popular quote: "Since sex got easier to get, Love got harder to find." Well, we wouldn't comment on the love part, but the bit about sex is true. You can't deny the fact that modern romances have been revamped thanks to online dating. It's all about swiping left and hooking up. And it's very easy too.

However, a study has revealed that as much the concept of casual sex sounds cool, it actually isn't. Don't believe us? Well, researchers have said that a liking for casual sex may land you in trouble.

According to a study published in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior,  a person's preference for casual sex may actually increase their risk of being harassed. The research was conducted by Mons Bendixen, Associate Professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.

The findings also showed that adolescents who sexually harass others have had casual sex more often than those who do not harass others. They also fantasize more about casual sex and find it more acceptable to have sex without any commitment or emotional closeness.

The study found that 60% of the respondents, both  girls and boys, reported that they had been sexually harassed in the last year.  Around 30% of the girls and 45% of the boys admitted that they had sexually harassed someone one or more times.

If this isn't enough to keep you from jumping that guys bones, that think of the regret the next morning. This isn't the first time that scientists have found that casual sex isn't a good thing.

Earlier in a study conducted by Norwegian University of Science and Technology's (NTNU) department of psychology, it was found that women regretted casual sex more. The study found that a woman's body is wired to feel guilty after waking up in a stranger's bed.

So ladies, we are not asking you take a vow of celibacy, nor are we asking you to uninstall Tinder. But, there's no harm in being careful, right? You never that hot guy may as well be a f**kboy! And no one needs that kind of negativity in life.
