This is what committed men go through at their bachelor's party
Do you think stag parties are fun? Think again
Ladies, if you are having sleepless nights over your hubby-to-be's impending bachelor party, you should relax! Contrary to the popular belief, men actually don't enjoy the debauchery that they are accused of.
Don't believe us? Well, science says so. According to a study carried out by Daniel Briggs from Madrid University and Anthony Ellis of Salford University, men succumb to peer pressure to celebrate one final night of 'freedom', despite the fact that the hedonistic experiences leave them feeling scared and degraded.
"One groom-to-be, who said he had no desire to see half-naked dancing women, let alone pay them in a lap dancing club that his best man insisted they go to. He went along with the group. He spent a dismal evening, declining offers from various women for private dances, but did not reveal his desire to leave to the best man or the rest of the group", reports the study, highlighting one particular incident.
Basically the tales of men going wild on their last bachelor night is nothing but a well-woven web of lies. It's actually the peer pressure that drives groom-to-be into the midst of all the madness. It's the extreme shaming, humiliation, and deviance that adds to the horrid experience at a stag party. Well, if this is how it goes down, then it sure ain't no fun.
