Study claims dating sites can't predict your perfect match. But, I am proof this is not true

Dating is tough. I mean, how do you even find someone with common interests and views? And it becomes more complicated if you are not a heterosexual person. After all, finding another queer person is no less than a herculean task. So what do you do? You end up looking for love online. Yes, I know what you'll say about online dating--they hardly ever work. And even Science agrees.

A New Study Says Dating Sites Cannot Predict Soulmates

Researchers from University of Utah, USA, have said that dating websites that claim to find your soulmate using computer analysis may not really work. According to the findings, artificial intelligence can only predict who is more desirable, rather than the perfect match.

So what does it mean? Well, apparently it is only possible to predict the overall tendency for someone to like and to be liked by others but not a perfect match.

But I Found My Partner On Tinder. Yes, I did!

I have tried all the available ways to find love in this world. I have met people through common friends, I have tried speed dating, I have asked my crushes out on dates, and I have even stolen someone else's girlfriend. But, every single method has been an epic fail for me.

And then I joined Tinder. Yes, I had apprehensions about it and even about going on a proper Tinder date. But you know what? After swiping left on every 'match' that the dating site threw at me, I ended up swiping right on my current partner. It has been amazing 6 months and my mother even loves her to death! All in all, it's a fairytale love story.

So, What Did I Learn?

Studies like these don't really apply to everyone. To tell you the truth, researchers can't really generalize when it comes to love--because it's different for everyone. Because science may say you can't find love online, but I did. And I'm sure a lot of people have as well!
