"We are a part of an amazing time in India and there is a huge opportunity to make and create," says Shonan Purie Trehan, founder and principal architect of architecture firm L.A.B  (Language. Architecture. Body). Yes, she is building the concrete future landscapes in India, but she tells Harper's Bazaar that her biggest challenge is finding a toilet at construction sites. Yes, we totally get that. Her mantra for success? Work, work, and hard work. There are no shortcuts to success and Trehan is a shining example of that.
