Without chocolates, the world will be without the comfort food it runs to.

Chocolates, the dark (and light) entity that makes living so much bearable, it will come to your aid in times of hunger, in times of anger, and in especially in times of pain. In fact, I feel it plays a great role in keeping the world running, spreading a little happiness here and sprinkling little smiles there. Judging by the number of people I know, haters of chocolate are very few. What possible reason they've found to frown upon something this delectable, I'll never know. But for me, the world is a better place because chocolate exists and this is the imaginary nightmare I think will follow if we run out of chocolate someday... God forbid!

People Will Never get Over Their Break-ups

Chocolates are essential at the time of heartbreaks. There's a great deal of chemistry and biology at work there, which releases happy thoughts, something we fail at when love is gone. Proof of its magical power of happiness can be seen even in the virtual world of Harry Potter-it's what fights off all the feeling of sadness that Dementors bring. And if Harry Potter claims it's good, it's good.

Period Cramps and Mood Swings Will be a Bitch To Deal With

Oh my god how will we survive our periods without chocolates! I could gush on and on about how chocolates have distracted so many of us from the painful reality that cramps are! I don't know what they do, but chocolate has been the bae who knew exactly how to soothe the pain that none other could.

How Will We Ever Find Something That Tastes Good With Almost Anything?

You can spread them over pancakes, you can spread them over bread, hell, you can even spread them over your rotis. I mean, it's one of the beautiful things that make you forget that calories are real and they're coming for you. It's like a disastrous love story that will have a sad ending, but it's just so good that you can't resist. How will we ever replace chocolate?!

We'll Lose out on The Biggest Metaphor of Friendship

It's the first thing given to toddlers when they're crying, it's the first thing given to angry friends and for many, it's what we've hidden in our pockets and shared with our grandparents. It's the first thing given to people when they're sad, I mean coaxing your loved one out of a bad mood with 'kuch meetha ho jaaye' is the best thing anybody can do.

Every Day Will be a Bad Day

Chocolates are so easily available. Unlike rasmalai, you don't have to hunt down a shop to buy a bar of happiness! Imagine having a bad day and having to hunt down the one thing that can act as an immediate remedy! Also, what would happen to those who run to chocolates for when you're panicking? They are not able enough to think straight during an attack, how will they manage? Not just that--if the world runs out of chocolate, I'm guessing we'll pay a fortune for it! Sh*t, it'll be a gourmet food meant for the elite. There could possibly be nothing worse.

Imagine The Dearth of Dessert Options

Chocolate rules the dessert world. From cakes to shakes--chocolates are the one option that catches the eyes and warms the heart. Imagine the pits of hopelessness we'll all fall into, imagine all the desserts that will cease to exist, imagine all the things that you'll have to give up on just because this world does not produce chocolates any longer. Those have to be the saddest lines.

On The Flip Side, Maybe Getting Fit Might Become Easier

There's no point living in a world without chocolates--we agree. But like everything, theoretically at least, this might have a positive side. It might just work in favour of those who end up cheating on their diet because of chocolate, because there will be no more to have. It might even come as motivation to many. How much that's worth in a world devoid of bars of happiness, we really cannot tell.

A world without chocolate is like coffee without milk--bitter. There would be no go-to comfort food that will immediately take us to a happy place; it will be a world devoid of childhood memories; it'll be a world without instant happiness. Honestly, not the kind of world many of us would like to be a part of. So for the sake of all our happiness, let chocolate overflow.
