Remember how actress Sonakshi Sinha revamped the lyrics of Honey Singh's hit number Love Dose during her performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai? And then how Breakthrough India enthralled us with their feminist version of Rahman's cult number Urvasi Urvasi?

It seems like giving famous songs with absolutely misogynistic lyrics a feminist makeover is the new trend. And we won't deny that we are absolutely lovin' it. After all, why should boys have all the fun, right?

Taking this 'legacy' forward, the Akshara Centre, a not-for-profit women's organization and resource centre working for the empowerment of women and girls has come up with a compilation of famous Bollywood numbers with a twist. Thankfully, this time the tables have turned and these girls are showing the men their right places by conveying some very sensible messages through music.

For safer bus rides, all you've got to do is to blatantly point out to the lecherous co-passengers that they need to control their goddamn fantasies. Or just make it abundantly clear that you don't like being called 'chammak challo' on those lonely walkways. In case you're stuck in that metro back home, a cheeky warning in the form of 'kundi mat khadkao raja, seedha andar jaoge raja' works well too. After all, it's all about ensuring the safety of women, especially in public places.

That's not it. These girls know how to show the perverted bosses and co-workers their right place even at the office. Trust us, it's a lot of fun and serves them idiots right. Watch the video here:

P.S. Every time the women look at you and confidently ask, "aisa kyu nahi likhte?", you can't help but nod in agreement. On second thoughts, you might even get the urge to call up Sameer and the likes of him and ask them to check out the video for a few writing lessons. What say?
