It's definitely weird. But, at least theirs is a happy marriage!

How would you define love? Got stumped there for a moment right? And it's okay--it's really difficult to summarize what love means in words. It's an emotion only worth feeling. So, when people do mad things in love, we quite understand that they have no control over their feelings or their heart. However, what we are about to tell you will leave you astounded.

According to a report published in Mirror, a woman has 'married' a train station and she claims that they have spent 36 years in love with one another. Yup, we are not playing a prank on you, this has really happened.

"Carol Santa Fe, aged 45, claims she has been in love with Santa Fe train station in California since she was nine years old. The volunteer support worker from San Diego takes a 45 minute bus ride to the station every day to spend time with the building, which she calls Daidra," states the report.

It's no brainer that their marriage could not get validated by the court of law or a church, but that hasn't stopped Carol from enjoying the matrimony. "We didn't start a relationship until 2011 but I had been in love with the station since I was a young girl. When we got married, I stood there and I told her that I take it as my partner. It was the happiest day of our lives. I take a 45 minute bus ride every night to see the station," Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

"When I'm touching her, I feel as though it actually holds me and kisses me. I don't have physical sex with the station in public, I want to be respectful. I wouldn't do that with a human in public so why would I do it in this case. I do have sex with Daidra in my mind when I stand there. I especially like when I hear the trains rev-up their engines--it turns me on," she said in an interview to the website.

Now, while most people would call her crazy for getting hitched to a train station, we are quite happy for her. After all, she is happy, isn't it? If Carol would have tied the knot with a human just to conform to the societal norms, she would have been miserable because in her heart she would always love someone, or rather, something else!

And no good comes out of sacrificing your feelings and entering a union with half a heart. A weird marriage to concrete and bricks is any day better than a loveless one, don't you think?
