Ladies, you are about to go green with envy. While you sit hunched over your laptop in a teeny cubicle, toiling hard to make big bucks, there's someone who is being paid to dine!

Yes, you heard that right; 25-year-old Sophie Hardy has been hired by Weight Watchers, an American company that that offers various products and services to assist weight loss, as an 'official eating officer'. If you are wondering what her job profile exactly looks like, let's break it down for you--Hardy is required to dine at some of the finest restaurants in UK. Seriously, isn't this the coolest job in the world?

Now, before you wallow in self-pity, here's what you should know. Hardy's job is to produce a research, which proves that weight loss does not necessarily mean cutting back on social life.

So, basically Hardy dines out twice a week to test restaurant menus. Her task is to look for healthy options, without compromising on the taste. The ones that meet with her approval get a green signal from Weight Watchers. To come to think of it, Hardy's job is not all just fun, it's very important too.

According to a report by Weight Watchers, "71% of Brits feel that fad dieting makes socialising difficult, and people aged between 25 and 34, struggle to socialise and eat healthily."

If this sounds like your dream job and you wish to become an eating officer yourself, you definitely need to take inspiration from Hardy. She began dieting when she was only 16. Now, nine years later, she is just a few kilos away from her target weight. Atta girl!

If you want to read more about her journey, you could take a look at her blog, where she will document her dining experiences.
