You all probably know Rekha. If you don't well, go die in chullu bhar paani--because she is the most awesome person to have graced Bollywood, like ever. Make fun of me all you want, but I mean every word I have said so far. Rekha is my role model, aur mein Rekha banna chahti hoon.

Because guess what bitches, Rekha is unapologetically herself and she doesn't give a damn about what you or who's who of the world think of her.

Regular people wear heels and Kohalpuri chappals with sari. But not Rekha. No siree. She has the ovaries to defy style norms and choose comfort over fashion. Because when you have a flight to catch to dreamland, you need shoes that can help you run. And Rekha understands that.

Did she go around with Big B or didn't she? That's the big question on everyone lips whenever Rekha is spotted anywhere. But my role model she ain't letting anyone steal her thunder. In fact, back in the early 2000s when was constantly battered with questions about Amitabh on Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, she just wore her cool hat and told the talk show host: "By the way, is this a show about me or Mr Bachchan?" Now that's what you call sass!

After her husband, Delhi-based businessman Mukesh Aggarwal, passed away in the early 90s, she was called a lot of things in big, bold letters in tabloids. Witch, murderess, yada yada....

You and I perhaps would have shrivelled up and died. But Rekha, she came out of all that viciousness unfazed. In fact, she doesn't give a f*ck about the society. That's what I aspire to be.

Why does her secretary, Farzana, dress like Amitabh Bachchan. Burning questions all--the answers to which only Rekha knows. Who wouldn't want to be a creature of such intrigue?
