Steal her Style: Alia Bhatt shows how to rock comfy velvet pants in public
The clothes you wear to bed are now bona fide street-style fashion.
Up until now, we were only crushing over the just-out-of-bed hairdo with messy, unkempt hair. But this laidback-fashion trend just got a super-cool extension.
Now, you can totally step out in your snuggly, homely pajamas, and tees and we promise--the world wouldn't look at you the same way. Which is to say you won't be subjected to awkward stares!
You read that right. Your stay-at-home clothes are now a bona fide street-style trend and the one to bring about this change is the eternal cutie pie of Bollywood--Alia Bhatt.
Redefining travel style, the Udta Punjab actress was spotted at the airport in a laid-back avatar. She wore a funky Star Wars tee over a pair of rust-coloured drawstring velvet pants. Smartly enough, she balanced out the slouchy attire with a 90's inspired oversized blue trench coat. The diva finished the look with a pair of white metal-toe sneakers and a simple, black sling bag.
Considering that she is known to always keep it casual, this shouldn't come to us as a surprise--but this time around it was her choice of the absolutely fabulous, shimmery velvet lowers that got us raving. Here's how you can get the look too.
In this time and age, when actresses are dressed to the nines at every occasion and leave no stone unturned to look absolutely perfect (which also includes travelling all that much in skimpy dresses and high heels. We mean don't they hurt?), Alia chose to simply prioritize her comfort over every goddamn thing in the world, while not compromising on the style-quotient one bit.
