Going by the name of Phoenix Hair, this trend has Instagram going ga-ga over it. And rightly so. After all, the multicolour effect it produces is no ordinary feat. It glows, ladies! Now, imagine that. Created by celebrity hairstylist Guy Tang, this particular dye job has
pigments of vibrant colours, such as--orange, red, yellow, and purple neon embellishing your locks.

To get the black-light-ready look, Tang has used products from the Kenra Professionals Color Creative Neon Collection. Thanks to the special concoction, the colour looks an amazing amalgamation of high-octane shades. However, as soon as you expose them to dark-light, a drastic transformation from the magical sunset hues to shimmering fire flames, takes place. And it's a treat to watch.

"I lightened the hair to almost platinum blond and strategically placed the neon colors that are black-light responsive", said Tang in an interview to Today.com. It's the specific dye molecules in the formula that react to UV light and create the glowing effect, quoted the website. Intrigued? Intrigued? Well, if you wanna decipher it further, there are a ton of videos circulating on the Internet to help you grasp the concept better.
